Alternate Grounds Cafe is a friendly, warm, and cozy meeting-eating-gathering place that takes pride in offering  a healthy menu that is an alternative to traditional fast and greasy food.  We have vegetarian, gluten free and organic-fair trade options available. We also have a free wireless signal availabe for our customers.

We specialize in gourmet coffees, teas and hot chocolate.  All of our soups and baked goods are homemade and our customers enjoy the ability to customize their own sandwiches and wraps. We serve creative salads and some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city.

On Sundays, we offer upgraded breakfast options such as gourmet omelettes. Twice a month we open for "An Evening at the Cafe. This is a fine dining affair with an ever changing a la carte menu. 

We have the largest selection of loose leaf teas in the Sarnia area and we can custom blend for you. We can also host specialized "tea parties" for your special event or shower.

We also have a specialized catering service that is ideal for meetings, seminars and parties of 5-500 people!
