Teas of all colors have many, many health benefits. It is very high in antioxidants, polyphenols, minerals and vitamins. With loose leaf tea you are getting the whole tea leaf with all of their essential oils intact. In contrast, the tea that goes into traditional teabags (Tetley, Red Rose, etc) are leaf fragments and tea dust left over from processing. Loose leaf tea has vastly superior flavor. Guaranteed.
As well, all of these teas are grown and produced in a socially responsible way.
To Brew: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place one teaspoon of tea for each cup into teapot. Add boiling water, cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes. All of these teas are excellent ‘straight up’, or add milk and sugar to taste.
Black Tea - Orange Pekoe - This fine certified organic comes from China. It is a mild tea with the classic spicy flavor we are all accustomed too.
